Fees
Standard session
$220
50 minutes face-to-face appointment time
10 minutes notes, admin, and follow-up related to you
Standard sessions are useful for those who want to spend time discussing one topic in depth, or multiple topics briefly. This can be useful for those who want ongoing regular appointments, and who find longer sessions can push them out of their window of tolerance.
Extended session
$330
75 minutes face-to-face appointment time
15 minutes notes, admin, and follow-up related to you
The extended session provides us the opportunity to explore topics in a greater depth. This session type can be useful for those working on more complex issues, for those who feel like they always have more to talk about in therapy, and for those who want to spend additional time on building skills in session (e.g. emotional regulation).
Cancellations
A minimum of two business days are required for cancellations. (e.g., to cancel a Monday appointment, notice must be given by Thursday; to cancel a Tuesday appointment, notice must be given by the Friday before)
More than 48 hours' notice: No fee applies
Less than 48 hours' notice: 50% cancellation fee
Less than 24 hours' notice: 100% cancellation fee
Accessibility
I encourage you to communicate your needs and boundaries directly (or indirectly, if you prefer written communication / email for example). I am committed to providing a safe space that you feel comfortable in. Please let me know if you require specific accessibility needs, if you feel uncomfortable, need further clarification, or have questions at any point during our therapeutic journey.
During sessions, please feel free to use fidget toys, to stim, draw, craft, fidget, to use sensory aids, and to engage in any other form of emotional regulation that you need to be present and to self-regulate. Please feel free to use heat packs, change positions, take meds that you’ve forgotten to take, use a TENS machine, stretch, get more pillows to support yourself, or whatever else you need to do to not be in pain. You are allowed to go on tangents, have brain fog, forget what you were saying, need to end the session early, and to have as many plushies around you as you’d like.
Eye contact is never required, and you are allowed to take as much time as you need to formulate a thought or think about a concept. You are allowed to dress in a way that is comfortable and supportive to you, to take notes (or not), and to move in any way your body needs (swaying, rocking, fidgeting).
